Action Packed Program for Young People of All Ages

Many New Teachers: All Classes Dynamic and Interactive


New this Year:  Torah Tot Times for the 2-4 year old: No affiliation required for this Monthly Sunday Morning Program taught by beloved preschool teacher with nearly 20 years experience:  Circle time, stories, gross motor skills activity, music, crafts, and more.  A totally new program designed specifically for this age group, each session centered around a Jewish theme.  Select Sunday mornings 9:45 am-11:15 am  cost: $36  (space is limited).  Dates are listed below.


Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten:  Come weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly!  Each class stands on its own!  No affiliation required for this class meant as a young person's entrance to religious studies, Very interactive with crafts, stories, cooking, and introduction to Bible stories, holidays, and Hebrew letters. Dynamic teacher 9:30 am-12:30 pm, cost: $72 (space is limited).


First/Second Grade:  Fun and engaging teacher with many years experience, open to all, no affiliation required.  Sundays 9:30 am- 12:30 pm, Very hands-on, interactive, and fun study of the Holidays, Hebrew, and introduction to Synagogue and Jewish tradition through games, crafts, drama, and stories.  


Third Grade: No affiliation required for the first year of Sunday 9:30 am-12:30pm and Wednesdays 4:00pm to 6 pm.  Beginning learning of prayers and more in-depth Jewish studies.  Come try out NNJJA and experience the nurturing, hand-on teacher who is being moved to this level!


Fourth-Seventh Grade:  Become a member of one of the NNJJA affiliated congregations for this Sunday 9:30 am-12:30pm and Wednesdays 4:00pm to 6 pm program that is ability based.  Each student moves at their own pace as they prepare for Bar or Bat Mitzvah.  Life cycle, History, Israel, Ethics, Bible, Holidays, Hebrew, and Prayer.  New this year are several field trips for each of these grades.  


Eighth-Grade and above:  Volunteer as a Madrich or Madricha either Sunday mornings and/or Wednesday afternoons. Get Community Service hours for your college resume!  New this year: special training program for those wanting certification as a religious school teacher assistant.
